Sometimes The Message translation of the Bible is just genius, and this verse is a great example. It sums up what Jesus did perfectly; He came and lived among us
Today has been busy and bity, but there have been many highlights, not least the lunchtime try-on of the Hope Invasion hoodies (incidentally, they are AWESOME!) I was reminded of what a privilege is to be a Youth & Children’s worker in York, a city where there is so much unity between churches and youth workers. We all do what we do because of what Jesus did for us, and we hope that Hope Invasion will provide young people across the city with the chance to meet to man who moved into the neighbourhood, dwells with us, and constantly changes lives.
